Jason & Lee-Anne co-founded AlgaVantage when they realized by applying their skills and passions, they could help struggling farmers. To build our knowledge base we have enlisted the help of mentors and engaged professional services to help guide us.
We deeply believe in our goal of creating a world where microalgae help humans, plants, and animals to flourish, and our different skills and experience perfectly position us to that vision into a reality.
Lee-Anne is passionate about creating customer-driven, efficient businesses and has the knowledge of what it takes to build successful businesses.
Dr Jason Webb, PhD Phycology
Jason is an experienced microbiologist and Marine Ecologist with over 15 years’ experience in the mass cultivation and commercialization of microalgae. He has extensive knowledge of microalgae production techniques and a vision for its future applications.
Jason has the experience and skills to develop innovative microalgae based product for food and industrial products, agriculture, wastewater and carbon bio-remediation.
He has set up and operated large scale algal culture facilities and has an extensive research record in the field of microalgae cultivation and production.
Ms Lee-Anne Keats
Lee-Anne is a Business Consultant with 15 years’ experience enabling organizations to set up and implement cost-effective operations.
She has extensive experience in delivering successful projects, large-scale business transformations, infrastructure implementations, and development and reengineering of company operations in banking and finance, aviation, and ICT companies across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia.
Lee-Anne has extensive qualifications covering economics, finance and accounting.
